Emilia Clarke Tells That She Wasn’t Happy How Game Of Thrones Ended
Ma’am, you’re not the only one, just trust us. Emilia Clarke, Khaleesi or Daenerys Targaryen, did not like how her previous show Game of Thrones ended. The British actress played the role of a Targaryen princess in a medieval fantasy love-drama series based on George R R Martin’s novels. While the author himself has not completed the story, with as many as two more novels coming out (we do not know when), the HBO series always wanted to shift away from the original plot. Unfortunately, they were not able to do that quite successfully.
Emilia Clarke Talks About Game of Thrones
Speaking to The Sunday Times, Clarke told them:
“I knew how I felt when I first read it, and I tried, at every turn, not to consider too much what other people might say. But I did always consider what the fans might think — because we did it for them, and they were the ones who made us successful, so…it’s just polite, isn’t it?”
However, Emilia Clarke does not think that the scriptwriters handled her character in a good way. She admitted that she felt sorry for her. She was also annoyed that Jon Snow walked away with nothing. After murdering the Queen, who just overtook King’s Landing, all Jon Snow got was an exile to North of the Wall. Lastly, she believes that the series could have been made longer.
The rumors that showrunners ended Game of Thrones rather hastily is a famous one. So many potholes are present in the storyline, and it proves. One such pothole is the presence of those circular symbols, nobody knows what it means.
Unfortunately, recently we heard the news that one of the fan-favorite actors of the show Tormund Giantsbane, or Kristofer Hivju, has tested positive for the coronavirus. The actor announced only a couple of days ago and is facing isolation as he battles for recovery.
