Jesse Eisenberg Confirms He Wants To Play Lex Luthor Once Again
The former DC star Jesse Eisenberg confirms that he will love to work with the studio once again now after Justice League. Speaking in an interview, Eisenberg had nothing but compliments for Zack Snyder and his DCEU projects. Apparently, Eisenberg loved the challenge he faced to bring Lex Luthor to life in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. With a lot of fans wondering about the famous, and perhaps even mythical, Snyder Cut, would things have been different if his original plan had gone through?
Jesse Eisenberg Wants To Work With DC Again
Jesse Eisenberg sat with In The Panda to talk about Vivarium when the discussion shifted to DC. When asked if he would like to play Lex Luthor again, he said:
“Oh yeah, I would very much like to because it’s such a cool character. Playing a villain in a superhero movie is the fun part. The good guys are fine, but the villains are the fun part because they get to be more flamboyant. Of course, the hero gets to, you know, survive. But, the villain has all the funny lines. I don’t know about the first part, but the second part is something that I could definitely be involved in, sure.”

Apparently, people want Eisenberg to play the role of Lex Luthor again because they keep talking to him about it. Back when his recent release Zombieland: Double Tap came out, he was asked similar questions during a press tour as well. Even then, a hopeful Eisenberg gave the same answers then as well.
Fans might want to see him back in Metropolis, however, Jesse Eisenberg has no idea when that will happen. Perhaps in the next Justice League?
“So I would love to do it again. But I don’t know what their [DC] slate is. If you have any pull, please use it.”
