Kodak Black Released From Jail
Florida rapper- Bill K. Kapri, more commonly known by his stage name Kodak Black has been released from prison earlier than scheduled. Apparently, Kodak Black was set free from Broward County Jail on early Saturday morning.

Kodak Black served in Florida Jail for about 7 months. Back in January, police authorities were compelled to raid his residence. The investigation stemmed from an Instagram video that showed marijuana near his son. After the raid, Kodak Black was charged with possession of marijuana, child neglect, involvement in the grand theft of a firearm. He was also charged for the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Later, by February, the charges of child neglect and grand theft of a firearm were dropped. But Kodak Black was still supposed to serve one year in prison. However, reports surfaced that his release was moved back from October to August 2018.
Regarding, the rapper’s lessened sentence, his attorney – Bradford Cohen shared that he tries very hard to give his clients a second chance. He added that Kodak Black was lucky to have his case resolved fairly by his prosecutor. He further revealed that Black would be engaging himself in creating new music and elaborating his charity work after his release.
Now that Kodak Black has legally changed his name to Bill K. Kapri, he looks forward to taking a fresh start. The rapper is mostly popular for his super hit singles No Flockin and Tunnel Vision. While the rapper was on probation, his debut LP Painting Pictures scored number three on the Billboard 200. Other than his achievements, Kodak Black also gained some fame when his controversy with Cardi B stirred up. Cardi B was accused of stealing his flow in her 2017 single Bodak Yellow.
Even though Kodak Black has been released from prison, he is still facing legal issues. The rapper still has some trials to face in accordance with the sexual assault charges launched against him in South Carolina from October 2017.
