Recently, Rita Ora’s ‘How to be Lonely’ was released as she had promised. Her last album came out in 2018 and this is her first music since then. While the song is out, music video is still pending.

Despite facing many hurdles, Rita Ora released her second album, ‘Phoenix’, in 2018

In 2015, she took legal action against her recording company, Roc Nation. According to her, they did not allow her to release a new album despite the fact that she had been creating records. However, she reached a settlement with them and signed a new global record deal with Atlantic Records UK. In 2018, Rita Ora finally released her second album, ‘Phoenix’. While talking about it, she said:

It was all these emotions, so my album is definitely a rollercoaster of emotions. I’m still crazy – like, I still love to go out and party. Everyone who knows me knows that I love to have a good time, but I wanted this album to also be something you could put on and vibe with your friends. There’s a lot of ups and downs, but I’m very, very proud of it.

Earlier this year, she promised her fans that she will be releasing new music soon

Written by Lewis Capaldi, Rita Ora’s ‘How to be Lonely’ is the lead single of her third album. Lewis Capaldi has also played the guitar and sang the background tune on Rita Ora’s ‘How to be Lonely’. While talking about the song, she said:

“When you’re alone, remember that you are enough and that you have the strength to make your own choices. Enjoy being you!”

On 13th March, Rita Ora’s ‘How to be Lonely’ single came out.

Previously, Ed Sheeran co-wrote her single, ‘Your Song’. Just like that song, Rita Ora’s ‘How to be Lonely’ is a pop tune that is catchy and melodious. Although it seems a bit generic and cannot be called her best music to date, Rita Ora’s ‘How to be Lonely’ is definitely going to be stuck in your head. The lyrics seem to indicate a desire to learn how to be alone instead of getting hurt again and again. On the other hand, the beat of the song is perfect for this kind of song. Needless to say, it will become radio listeners’ favorite song. On a lighter note, it seems like a spot-on song for this time of social distancing during the CoronaVirus pandemic.
