OneRepublic, the American pop-rock band, just released a new track called Didn’t I. They are all set to release their new album “Human” on May 8, 2020. Their first studio album, Dreaming Out Loud, came out in 2007. Human will be their 5th studio album to hit the charts. The fans are over-ecstatic. And they should be. Because we are as well. Ryan Tedder takes his time to come up with soulful music. That’s why there is a huge gap in every album release. Their last album “Oh My My” was released on October 7, 2016. In the tragic CoronaVirus era, we need good music so that we don’t lose our minds. And our favorite musicians are well-aware of this fact.
OneRepublic Releases Didn’t I
Didn’t I is the 4th track of OneRepublic’s album Human. It hits you on a different level. Especially if you had your heart broken recently. Or, if you recently saw your ex somewhere.
Swear I saw your face
At a coffee shop on 8th
Or maybe it was in my mind?
And I swear that I heard your laugh
From a person that walked past me
At a party the other night
It’s mostly the former one. Where a person is still trying to recover from a very bad breakup. The initial beats of One Republic’s Didn’t I take you in the same mental zone where Billie Eilish songs reside. If you don’t believe me, listen to this:
The teaser had all the fans excited and ready. They knew from the beats that this song is going to make them cry.
know that I still care for you
Tell me why good things have to die

More tracks from Human
Didn’t I is the 4th track to be released from OneRepublic’s upcoming album Human. They have already released Wanted, Somebody to Love, and Rescue Me. Since there is still some time in the album release, we can expect more singles to drop by then.
The track, Didn’t I, also happens to be the longest track by OneRepublic from their latest album. But it is still 3:27 only. Their track, Wanted, was only 2:16. When the teaser for Didn’t I dropped yesterday, fans wanted it to be a long one. And they are happy it really is.
Ryan Tedder has also collaborated with Lady Gaga for her upcoming album Chromatica.
Didn’t I is also available on pre-order of the album Human. Do it now.
