It’s that time of the year again! “The Super Bowl of Sports Entertainment” WrestleMania is right around the corner. The thirty-sixth edition of WrestleMania is all set to emancipate from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on April 5, 2020. With cancellation rumors at an all-time high (due to CoronaVirus), it looks like WWE has all plans to hold the event as planned. Moreover, none other than Snickers will be presenting WrestleMania 36!

WWE Finds a Presenting Partner for WrestleMania 36 Despite Cancellation Concerns Looming Over!

Wrestlemania 36

For the fifth time in a row, world-famous chocolate brand Snickers will be presenting “The Showcase of Immortals”. The deal between the parties is a beneficial one for both. Under the said deal, WWE Superstars will be a part of Snicker’s “Fix the World” Campaign.

The chocolate brand will also be a part of “Axxess”. For those of you unaware, Axxess is an interactive multi-day fanfest held by WWE during the WrestleMania week, heading into the Grand Event.

Will WrestleMania take place this year?

WWE issued a statement not too long ago about WrestleMania 36 proceeding as scheduled. However, Tampa Officials might have other plans due to the CoronaVirus outbreak.

CBS Tampa’s Ryan Bass just posted a tweet which reads as,

@CityofTampa and @JaneCastor will meet on Thursday to discuss canceling or postponing “major” events due to #Coronavirus. This weekend’s River O’Green fest isn’t likely to be canceled.

It’s interesting to note that WrestleMania 36 is among the “major” events Ryan has mentioned in his tweet. So, there is a strong chance that WrestleMania this year will be canceled, if not postponed after this Thursday’s meeting. The annual event, for the last several years, has proven to be effective in boosting the economy of the hosting state.

Are you attending or looking forward to WrestleMania this year? Do you think that 2020 will be the first time in 36 years that there isn’t a WrestleMania show? Let us know in the comments!
