During his college years, he formed a new wave pop group called Seona Dancing. The group was signed by London Records and released a couple of singles as well. Not only is he a star, but Ricky Gervais’ cat Ollie also had her own fan base

The actor and his longtime partner, Jane Fallon, met their cat, Ollie in 2003. Since 2014, they have been posting their cat’s pictures and tweets on her Twitter account. She had 63.2k followers who were update about her daily routine. Needless to say, Ollie is among the most famous pets in the world.

Sadly, Ricky Gervais’ cat passed away this week.

After 16 years, Ollie died after a sudden health issue. In a tweet, Gervais shared this sad news. He said:

Just had to say goodbye to the sweetest little soul I’ve ever known. RIP Ollie.

In a separate tweet, Jane Fallon expressed her sorrow over the loss. She said:

I have awful news. My smart, funny, feisty, beautiful sidekick of the last 16 & a half years @myleftfang has passed away after a sudden down turn in her health at the weekend. My heart is broken in two. I have no idea what I’m going to do without her by my side. #Ollie

Indeed, it is sad news. Our prayers are with Ricky and Jane.
