Another streaming service is in the competition now! Quibi (or Quick Bites) is a new platform specifically made for mobile users. The app is designed to give mobile users the best experience on the go. Moreover, all episodes on Quibi will last 15 minutes or less. Obviously, this is a very new (and risky) play made by founder Jeff Katzenberg. Here we will tell you how to sign up for Quibi free of cost!
Free subscription of Quibi
The platform will be launching on April 6. Regular monthly pricing is $5 (with ads) and $8 (without ads). However, you can still watch Quibi shows for free. The platform is offering a 90-day free service to anyone who signs up before April 6. This means that more than 51 original shows will be on your fingertips. But only if you download their app right now and sign up. Quibi is now available on Google Play and App Store. Many original shows will be available on launch to entertain the users. Celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Kevin Hart, Nathalie Emmanuel, Zac Efron, and many more will be starring in various shows.

Launch party canceled due to CoronaVirus
Quibi’s launch party event was set for April 5 in Culver City, California. The party was canceled as a precautionary measure due to the CoronaVirus epidemic. The United States has reported more than 1000 cases and 31 deaths as of March 11. Meanwhile, WHO has set the threat level to Very High as more countries report virus outbreaks. Theatres all over the world have shut down with a loss of $5 billion. Sports matches and festivals have been canceled, and even the 2020 Tokyo Olympics is rumored to be postponed. Quibi’s statement comes days after it announced its lineup of shows:
While we look forward to launching the Quibi app on April 6, we have decided to cancel our pre-launch event party out of an abundance of caution as we continue to monitor COVID-19. The health of everyone involved is our top priority.
