WWE’s Bayley Might Be Defending Her Championship In A Six-Way Match
Rumours have started to surface as the world of wrestling entertainment is reaching its one of the grandest stages of them all. Wrestlemania 36 is coming on April 5 and things are falling in place for the grand annual pay-per-view showdown. Till now, four matches are confirmed, including AJ Styles against Undertaker who will make a return once again. While all major titles in WWE have received their storylines, we believe that one championship missing. We are talking about the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and its current holder Bayley. Fortunately, we believe that she is going to be facing a hard challenge at the grand night, with an announcement coming soon!
Bayley To Feature In A Six-Way Championship Match
The SmackDown Women’s champion Bayley has become one of the strongest rosters for the wrestling storyline. She has managed to run over all of the opponents who came for her championship. Successfully defending her title in every championship match, she is the longest title holder among women’s division.
To keep things interesting, WWE is planning something big for Bayley at Wrestlemania 36. It seems that she will be put into a six-pack challenge at the event. Check out these tweets:
A source tells me the plan for the SD women’s title at WM36 is a six-pack challenge right now.
Bayley v Sasha v Naomi v Lacey Evans v Carmella – that’s five of the six names.

The source speculates Bayley and Sasha would prefer to hold off their major singles PPV match, too.
Both women have told me before they wouldn’t get the time they need on a Mania’ card, so I can def believe that.

I hate tweeting things like this because WWE/wrestling is so fluid and the source even said ‘as of this morning’ alluding to the possibility of change.
But, they haven’t let me down yet so let’s see!

The competition is most likely turning towards Bayley, Sasha Banks, Naomi, Lacey Evans and Carmella. According to McCarthy, the original plans included Bayley against Banks. However, Banks’ injury might force WWE to put their singles match on hold till the next PPV.
The sixth superstar in this match against Bayley is unknown for now. However, things about those whose name is mentioned are not sure either. McCarthy tells that WWE did not give confirmation on this news and sounded vague or unsure. Luckily, we still have a couple of weeks before we see Bayley in this rumoured match.
If it is going to happen, then things should most certainly kick off right after the recent pay-per-view Elimination Chamber. Regardless, it will be one hell of a match for SmackDown Women’s Championship.
