Krasinski Talked About A Quiet Place Part 2 Stunt

It was on the show of Ellen DeGeneres when the writer-director-actor talked about the scene in A Quiet Place 2. In the trailer, we get to see Emily Blunt driving in reverse, avoiding collision with an on-coming bus with an alien inside it. Krasinski revealed that the scene was no CGI, there was no stuntman involved, gave all credits to his wife Blunt. He even said, “that by putting her in the car, I was actually putting my marriage in the car. And if that wouldn’t have gone well, then I wouldn’t still have been wearing this [shows his wedding ring]”.

Here is another instance where John Krasinski spoke about this Emily Blunt scene:

“Like when I was explaining to her on set all the things that were going to happen and I said, ‘You’re going to hit this stunt man, that car is going to come three feet from you and then this bus is actually going to clock at 40 miles an hour,’ her face fell and she went, ‘But not really.’ And I went, ‘No, no, the bus is coming at you at 40 miles.’ That’s a real bus, and that bus hits that car and all that is totally real.”
