Rita Ora’s Single ‘How to be Lonely’ Coming on 13th March
After one whole year, Rita Ora is all set to release new music. Her newest single, ‘How to be Lonely’ will be releasing on 13th March and her fans could not be happier.
While she is a huge star now, Rita Ora began her journey by auditioning for Eurovision
Although qualified for Eurovision and taking part in the show for a few episodes, Rita Ora soon withdrew from the competition. In 2008, she signed her first-ever contract with Roc Nation. After that, she featured on DJ Fresh’s song, ‘Hot Right Now’. However, she did not release her debut album, ‘Ora’, until 2012. Her song, ‘R.I.P’, topped UK Single Charts and became her first number-one song. In 2018, she released her second album, ‘Phoenix’. In 2019, Rita Ora released her single, ‘Carry On’ with Norwegian producer Kygo.
Not only is she an incredible singer, but she has also appeared in multiple films as well
In 2004, she made her acting debut in a British film, ‘Spivs’. However, her breakthrough performance was as Mia Grey in the film based on the novel, ‘Fifty Shade of Grey’ in 2015. After that, she starred in the sequels of that film, ‘Fifty Shade Darker’, and ‘Fifty Shades Freed’. Last year, she played Dr. Ann Laurent in ‘Pokemon: Detective Pickachu’.
Recently, Rita Ora announced that she will soon release her single, ‘How to be Lonely’
It will be releasing on 13th March and is written by Lewis Capaldi. While talking about her song, she said:
“To my friends, I haven’t sat down to speak to you guys in SUCH a long time. It’s beyond overdue! I thought I’d write something a little longer so I can share my thoughts and intentions with you, because you are all on this journey with me. The past year has felt like the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new and exciting one! One of the most liberating feelings for me is performing and creating music. You all know that music will always be my first love, even when I’m working on different projects, I’m always writing and making music……so, here’s something new!”
Furthermore, she talked about Lewis Capaldi and said:
“I’ve loved working with Lewis on this track and it’s been a lot of fun. He’s a great talent and a man of the moment and I really connected with the lyrics when he originally sent it to me.”
After the release, she will be playing in London’s Hyde Park in July.
