Dolly Parton sends prayers to Nashville families after storm
A devastating tornado hit Nashville city early Tuesday morning on March 3, 2020. Dolly Parton along with many other stars extends her support and affection to the victims. The tornado caused deaths and damage across the district. Like all stars, Dolly extends her support through social media saying:
“Well, I’m here on the job today, because as they say, the show must go on. But we had a lot of damage out in our area. I know a lot of Nashville was just devastated with the storms. And I just wanted you to know that we are all with you and hope that your family’s okay and that your property’s gonna be able to get mended pretty soon, get your lights back on.”
Dolly Parton Offers Support to those that lost loved ones
Dolly Parton expressed support for those who faced damage after the storm. But, she primarily focused on those who lost loved ones in the catastrophe. The country icon said:
“To those that really lost family members, I’m sorry about that. Our prayers are with you. And so I just wanted to shout out and say, ‘We’re with you,'”
The tornado mainly hit the East Nashville area and Germantown just before 1 am. It destroyed multiple buildings along with beloved music hot spot the Basement East, according to hudsonvalleycountry.com. Casualties from the devastating tornado soon began to emerge. And about 11.30 am Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) reported twenty-two deaths and forty collapsed buildings because of the tornado.
