CinemaCon Pushes For March 30 Opening
CinemaCon is continuing its push towards the opening taking place on March 30. By maintaining close contact with the Center for Disease Control, they are trying to increase the use of hand sanitizers, trash cans and keeping food stations under control.
According to CBR,
“On Wednesday, February 26, 2020 NATO/CinemaCon sent out a memo confirming CinemaCon 2020 will take place as planned from 30 March – 2 April at Caesars Palace.”
The CinemaCon authorities will be distributing hand sanitizers and keeping more than planned during the event. Increased staff in restrooms will be present and wellness checks will be carried out and the staff will receive training for it as well. The authorities at the Caesars Palace will also try to avoid and disperse crowding at the food stations. For example, food places may move to more open locations and sitting arrangements are available. Servers will distribute food at buffets and beverage counters as well. Extra napkins will be present and food will be be given in extra wrapping in such napkins. Servers and most of the staff will be wearing gloves as well. The extra trash can will ensure proper disposal of all trash.
Apart from all this, the medical staff will remain vigilant throughout the whole event and will have seats where they can watch most of the event and public. Perhaps they get an additional set of eyes through cameras and other means for constant and consistent checking. All this to ensure a completely healthy CinemaCon and mitigate any risk of Coronavirus.
