At the moment, election fever has enveloped the US. Not only the politicians, Hollywood is also actively supporting and campaigning for their favorite candidates. This is why when the news of Elizabeth Warren dropping out came out, her celebrity supporters instantly reacted.

Although she is a lecturer by profession, Elizabeth Warren officially began her political career in 2012

In 2012, she won the elections and became the first-ever woman elected to the US Senate from Massachusetts. During her time in the Senate, Warren focused on consumer protection, social safety net, and economic opportunities. She was assigned to a special committee on aging which took care of the banking, housing, and urban affairs committee. In 2019, she announced that she will be running for president. While her announcement, she asked for changes in the government and said:

It won’t be enough to just undo the terrible acts of this administration. We can’t afford to just tinker around the edges—a tax credit here, a regulation there. Our fight is for big, structural change. This is the fight of our lives. The fight to build an America where dreams are possible, an America that works for everyone.

However, the news of  Elizabeth Warren dropping out was announced

Sadly, she did not manage to get enough wins in the primary rounds and decided to drop out of the presidential race. While talking about her decision, she said:

“I announced this morning that I am suspending my campaign for president. I say this with a deep sense of gratitude for every single person who got in this fight, every single person who tried out a new idea, every single person who just moved a little in their notion of what a President of the United States should look like.”
