Natalie Portman Shares Her Roasted Cauliflower Recipe

Natalie Portman is a famous American actress who has won many awards and hearts. It is no news that she excels in her passion for acting. But what is amazing about her is that she stands by her principles even in the face of public scrutiny. For instance, she refused to attend an Israeli event “Genesis Prize” in which she was nominated. The reason being, she was against the government’s treatment towards the Palestinians in a recent skirmish. Other than that, she is an advocate of climate change and women’s rights as well.

Did I mention that she has been a vegan since she was very young? So one can say she was an activist before she was an actress. She along with her kids follow a strictly vegan diet. However, her husband, Benjamin Millepied, follows a vegetarian diet. She married the French dancer in 2012 and has two kids with him. If you look at her Instagram you can see her many recipes that are always vegan based. Recently she shared a unique looking recipe of roasted cauliflower. Who knew cauliflowers can actually taste good if we want them to be. The recipe is given below:

While we are at it, let me tell you something you didn’t know about her and her husband. They both met on the set of Black Swan in 2009, the movie which won Natalie Portman an Oscar. Benjamin played the role of David in Black Swan and was the choreographer as well. Controversy also followed the movie. Apparently, not all the dance moves which Natalie Portman pulled were done by her. There was a body double, Sarah Lane, who has spoken out many times for not getting the credit. Nonetheless, there is no denying the fact that she is an amazing actress.
