Remembering Robin Williams
This weekend was the fourth anniversary to mark the death of the Oscar-winning actor Robin Williams. Back in 2014, Williams was found dead in his home near California. The authorities ruled it as a suicide. However, Robin Williams’ family later declared that he died suffering from dementia caused by Lewy body disease.
Tribute to Robin Williams
Ever since the beloved comedian died, fans and fellow celebrities can not stop remembering him. Many paid their tributes to Robin Williams on his 4th death anniversary. John Travolta- his costar in 2009’s Old Dogs posted a picture with Robin Williams on his Instagram. And in the caption remembered him as a man who brightened the world and is missed.
Star Luke Evans also paid his regards to the late comedian on Instagram. He posted a picture of him captioned with one of his quotes saying,
‘What’s right is what’s left if you do everything else wrong’.
Previously, back in 2016, Robin Williams’ widow published an essay in the neurology journal discussing her husband’s death. She wrote that the doctors only discovered his Lewy body disease after he passed away.
William’s Daughter Pays Tribute
This year, in July, Robin Williams’s daughter also made an Instagram post remembering her late father on what was supposed to be his birthday. She expressed how overwhelming it was for her to see strangers care for her dad so much. Zelda Williams also thanked everybody for loving the actor, missing him, and for supporting his work. She further asked Robin Williams’ fans to donate to charitable causes in her father’s name and urged everyone to spread kindness and laughter all around.

Williams was definitely one of the greatest legends to exist. He started as a stand-up comedian. But soon appeared on shows like Happy Days and Mork & Mindy. Later he made his first screen debut with Can I Do it ‘Til I Need Glasses?. Ten Years later, he got back on the screens with Good Morning, Vietnam. The actor did a lot of other movies. And won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1997 for his part in Good Will Hunting. Robin Williams is also popular for his friendship with Koko the Gorilla who missed her friend dearly after his death.
Recently, a documentary was created on his life and it revealed a lot about the late comedian. Throughout his life, he was open with fans about substance abuse. Robin Williams’ death surely impacted too many people, and with every passing year, the world misses him more.
