My mom gave birth to me 44 years ago today. This is the first birthday that she won't be with me in physical form. The pain and grief is unmatched, anyone who has lost a parent knows. But she loved me so unconditionally, in a way no one else ever will and that is forever. This day belongs to Peggy. I miss you so much, mama. I hope you're soaring.
Peggy Lipton is known for her roles in “The Mod Squad” and “Twin Peaks”. The reason for her death turned out to be cancer. Rashida Jones’ elder sister Kidada opened up on Instagram about the bond the mother shared with her daughters. Kidada Jones was the fiancé of Tupac Shakur and in many interviews, she called him the love of her life.
Apart from acting Rashida Jones also marvels in the world of writing and producing. It should be noted that she graduated from Harvard in 1997 and studied religion and philosophy. She is a walking example of a beauty-with-brains. Her notable roles include playing Karen in “The Office”.
Being the daughter of a music mogul, she has done quite some work in that industry. Turns out she has been singing from a young age. So her singing stunts include collaborations with Tupac Shakur and Maroon 5 as well as appearances in many music videos as well. Not only that, she has a spy series to her name as well, called “Frenemy of the state”.
