Pete Davidson sets the record straight

Later in 2018, Ariana released a catchy song called “thank you, next”. She wrote the lyrics of the song along with other songwriters. Basically the song was about her exes – Mac and Pete, among others. In 2019, she appeared on Vogue and called Pete Davidson a distraction. Fast forward to February 23, 2020, Pete Davidson did an in-depth interview with “Charlamagne Tha God”. He talked about his exes and in Ariana’s case, he sounded very understanding. Recalling the time of his life, he said after Miller’s death it was over for sure. It was obvious how much she cared for Miller and he showed support to her even then. Also, he sent his support to the family of the late rapper.

Alive from New York

After his split from the pop singer, Pete Davidson underwent a lot of name-calling from the Arianators. On February 25, 2020, he used his Netflix special to tell the world a little something about the whole ordeal. He is kind of hurt that the split resulted in Ariana getting awarded and getting a record-song. While he was given the looks from the angry fans, is that fair? On the name he was given by Grande – distraction – he said had it been him all tanned up? The public would have stoned him to death and his career would have gone poof. However, representatives of Grande told the media that she is happy with Pete’s honesty in his stand-up comedy. She knows the real him and understands where he is coming from.
