Dr. Mike’s new YouTube video
On February 18, 2020, he recorded a video to educate his followers on the new Coronavirus. Named by the WHO as COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019). Giving the number of the COVID disease he says there have been 73,000 cases so far with 1.9 thousand deaths. Around February 13, 2020 people became panicked as the number of affected people skyrocketed. Dr. Mike explains that the reason behind it was pretty simple actually. The staff in Hubei province ran short on testing kits and instead did the clinical diagnosis. That is anyone who showed the symptoms of cough, fever, and shortness of breath was diagnosed with COVID.
81% of the COVID cases are mild, 14% are moderate while only 5% is critical. To look at a virus’s impact, you need to understand how likely it will spread and the lethality rate. Up till now, the COVID has a rate of 2% only.
In other words, he advised his subscribers to not panic because of the websites that are spreading unnecessary fear among the people. He assures that if there is a definite need, WHO will alert us. Stay alert and not anxious.
