The much-awaited Carpool Karaoke of the year 2020 is here. V, Suga, J-Hope, Jin, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook surely broke streaming records on social media platforms. BTS previously appeared on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” last month. They also performed on “Black Swan”, one of the songs from their newly released album “Map Of The Soul:7”, follow-up of Map Of The Soul: Persona.

BTS share their Carpool Karaoke Experience with ET

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rachel asks the boys:

How was their experience of filming the carpool karaoke? And how long did it last?

To which RM replies:

The filming took like 3,4 hours in total. And it is like the biggest car they have ever rented. Yeah, because we are seven.

ET’s Rachel Smith then asks:

what kind of car was it?

To which RM replies:

Like some van, it was really hot inside. There were like 16 cameras. And James was not really driving it. I did not know that. I thought he really actually drove it but safety first.

Alright, so now let’s get back to the BTS’ much-awaited carpool karaoke. Which became an instant favorite, even with eight people who were having difficulty in breathing and 16 cameras (being cherry on the top) all jam-packed in a cruiser.

From singing some of the most popular songs to joking about each other’s nicknames and landing at James weight loss dance class -the episode was worth the wait.

Few Funny Moments From The Carpool Karaoke:

James to RM: “My korean is not great”

Jungkook: Me too (this dude is super funny)

James to RM: How did you learn English?

RM replies: I have taught myself by F-R-I-E-N-D-S. My mom bought me the whole DVDs.

Meanwhile Jin to  Suga: Well! I have watched F-R-I-E-N-D-S too. But I can’t speak English.

Suga replies to Jin: He memorized it to study.

The 16 minute and 14 seconds video shows the BTS boys and James Cordon singing to “MIC Drop” (from BTS’s album “Love Yourself: Her”, “Finesse” (Bruno Mars ft Cardi B), “Circles” (Post Malone), “ON “and “Black Swan”(BTS Map Of The Soul:7).

The video earned over 20 million views on Youtube within seven days. The number of views on BTS’ Carpool Karaoke sadly doesn’t top up views from the rest of the videos on James Corden Youtube Channel. Hopefully, the views may increase soon!
