Hooking Up | Plot
Saban Films is the distributor of the film. Based in Los Angeles, they are a boutique acquisition and distribution company and work with their studio partner, Lionsgate. The trailer was posted on the YouTube channel of Saban Films.
To begin with, Darla is a writer who writes saucy content for a lifestyle magazine. In contrast to that, Bailey is a hopeless romantic. For him, life is going downhill as he has just been dumped by the love of his life since high school. Also, to top it all off, he has been diagnosed with something that has left him bewildered. The two stars meet each other through the mysterious works of fate and set off on a cross country trip to heal themselves.
Cast & Trailer
Other cast members of the film include Jordana Brewster, Vivica A. Fox, Amy Pietz, Anna Akana, and Rob Moran. The trailer shows a story about self-discovery in a fun and edgy way. It should be noted that the American director Nico Raineau has successfully worked on short films and TV series. However, Hooking Up is his feature film debut, but we expect something good from him nonetheless. Additionally, the producers of the film are Jordan Beckerman, Jon Keeyes, Jordan Yale Levine, and Brittany Snow. Clearly, the 33-year-old Brittany Snow has made a name for herself in the industry by working as a singer, actress and recently as a producer.
