‘Breaking News in Yuba County’ Starring Mila Kunis Coming

The famous star of ‘That seventy’s Show’, Mila Kunis is set to star in the new ‘Breaking news in Yuba County’. The thirty-five-year-old is set to star in the drama-comedy along with several other prominent actors.

This project will be brought to life by actress Allison Janney and director Taylor Tate. This film marks the pair’s third collaboration. They first worked together in 2011 for the drama ‘The Help’. and again in 2016 for the thriller ‘The Girl on the Train’. Mila Kunis will be starring with Academy Award-winning actress Allison Janney, ‘Ocean’s 8’ star Awkwafina, ‘Little’ actress Regina Hall, Samira Wiley of ‘Orange Is The New Black’, ‘Trainwreck’ star Bridget Everett, ‘House of Cards’ actor Jimmi Simpson and Keon Sim.

Oscar-nominated actress Juliette Lewis, ‘Animal Kingdom’ star Ellen Barkin and Wanda Sykes of ‘Bad Moms’ are all also in advanced negotiations to join.

Amanda Idoko is the scriptwriter. Moreover, Laura Dern had to star in the film too but had to drop out because of timing and scheduling issues.

About Breaking News in Yuba County:

The movie is based on the plot when Janney catches her husband cheating on her with another, younger woman. The husband dies of a heart attack and Janney decides to bury him in the garden. She doesn’t report the death and instead reports him gone missing. She enjoys the celebrity status embodied in the facade of her missing husband. Shortly after, Janney finds herself running away from criminals and hiding the truth from the police.

The movie takes a turn when Janney tries hiding the truth from her half-sister (Mila Kunis) too. Mila’s character is a local news reporter and anchor. Regina Hall’s character also catches hint that Janney’s committed a crime and begins investigating it further. The shoot for the movie takes place in Mississippi.

Along with Tate Taylor, Jake Gyllenhaal is also producing the movie!

    No one is in advanced negotiations to join the cast because this film has already been shot and has been in post-production since August 2019. But thank you for bringing some light to this work in progress.
