Anna Wintour, a British-American journalist, has been editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine since 1988. From her trademarked bob haircut to her dark sunglasses, Anna has become a prominent figure of the fashion industry. She’s known for her insightful fashion choices and her support for younger designers. She earned the nickname Nuclear Wintour for her reportedly aloof and demanding personality.

Anna sat down in her office in Manhattan to answer some of her readers’ interesting questions in her series Go Ask Anna. When asked which movie had the best costume and styling this year, Anna named “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” and “Little Women” as two of her favorites. And if it were all up to her, Lulu Wang’s The Farewell and Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite would win the best picture.

Anna’s Take On Romance

Kendall Jenner popped in to ask Anna what her best and worst date was. Anna said her best dates are going to the theater with her daughter. And going to a tennis match with her son. She described her worst date as back in the 70s when she was in love with a young man. However, it seems that things didn’t quite work out between Vogue’s EIC and the dashing activist writer (For the full story, watch the video here).

Valentine’s Gifts

Anna was also asked what is the best gift for Valentine’s Day if you’ve only just started going out. She picked a nice home-cooked meal as you don’t wanna put too much pressure for gifts. And for people in long term relationships, she recommends bracelets from Scosha or rings from Tiffany.
