The Mandalorian Season 2 Now Has A Release Date Set
We officially have a release date for The Mandalorian season 2. The show is set to come back to Disney+ in October 2020. Finally, we will get to see The Child once again. Star Wars have successfully tried shifting towards a live-action TV series after finishing their Skywalker Saga. Although we don’t know how will the franchise continue after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, one thing that will remain constant is Pedro Pascal’s Mando.
The Mandalorian Comes Back In October 2020
Lucky for us, Lucasfilm is taking full control of how they want to steer the show. According to ScreenRant, Jon Favreau has been writing scripts for The Mandalorian even before the show began. Consequently, there is an ample amount of time to go through the script. They can sort out plot holes and perfect the show. That is why when we say that the script show was a huge hit for Disney and the Star Wars franchise, it is no exaggeration.
Unfortunately, this is the only content that we will get to see this year. Or in the coming few as well. This, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7 which is going to air on February 21. It was only recently when we discovered that Star Wars and its production team is going on a break after the release of Episode IX. No new movie is to release till December 2022 as the franchisee wishes to think about how to proceed next.
Anyways, it was during an investor’s call where Bob Iger confirmed the release date of The Mandalorian Season 2. Though we do not have an exact date, it surely helps to narrow down our search from “Fall 2020” to “October 2020”. Now we know when can we expect the show to answer all the questions they put up in the debut season to build a storyline in the coming season(s).
For instance, we very much would like to know how did Moff Gideon get his Darksaber when it was last seen in the hands of Darth Maul in The Clone Wars. There is also a huge story about The Child, aka Baby Yoda.
Hopefully, The Mandalorian Season 2 will answer most questions and raise new ones!
