Celebrate Global Movie Day Before Oscars 2020

On January 15th, 2020, the National Day Calendar announced that the Global Movie Day will be added in the registrar to be observed on the 2nd Saturday in February annually. The very next day we will be enjoying the Oscars 2020. This weekend is gonna be filled with so much fun.

What is the Global Movie Day?

The essence of this day is to honor the movies. For 100 years, they have been a source of entertainment for humankind. Not only that they give a sense of connection to us through the art of storytelling. It is such a globalized industry that we can enjoy the creation of a country while sitting on another continent. In addition to this, the National Calendar day has urged the people across the globe to use this hashtag #GlobalMovieDay before the Oscars 2020. But what for? To revisit the movies that are close to your heart. Along with your loved ones, enjoy the movies to celebrate movies. Apart from this, your hashtags might inspire someone on the planet to enjoy a movie that you love. 

What are Oscars basically?

In fact, it was the “Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences” that founded Global Movie Day in 2020 to celebrate the Oscars.  Essentially, it is a professional honorary organization whose goal is to advance the arts and sciences of motion pictures. Their Instagram page also asked that the hashtag be used a day before Oscars 2020.
