Paramount’s “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run” tv spot will debut before the Super Bowl. As you know, this Sunday was the Super Bowl in the US, which suggests two things. The Americans will literally get on hold for several hours while two teams play it out. They believe it’s the biggest game in the world, even if the rest of the world doesn’t. But what the world does care about are the interesting movie trailers that were released and the hilarious commercials.
Given that the Super Bowl is taken as the most expensive advertising platform, it’s hard to get a spot for your trailer. Even if you do, it’s usually just a few seconds. ‘ Sponge on the Run’ got 26 seconds.
The SpongeBob Movie is directed by show veteran Tim Hill. Hill wrote the script alongside the writers of the last film, Jonathan Aibel, Glenn Berger, and newcomer Michael Kvamme. So expect tons of familiarity with this film. Therefore, it’ll be fun to watch the antics of its strange characters when it releases later this year in May.

What is the story of Spongebob’s third movie?
The short trailer reveals is that SpongeBob’s (voiced by Tom Kenny) pet snail Gary is missing. He and his dim-witted pal Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke) set out to travel to find him amidst a group of funny scenarios and wacky characters. The movie also features Snoop Dogg and Keanu Reeves. So we all know the film goes to be successful already!
This is the third movie of the Sponge Bob. Its first movie was in 2004 named, “The Sponge Bob SquarePants”. The second one is in 2015 and named was “Sponge Out of Water.”
Both films gave massive hits, grossing over $450 million combined. Let’s see if this one does too.
