Can Doctor Strange Sequel set pace for another MCU Civil War?
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is heading into its fourth phase after the End Game. One of the most awaited installments of Phase 4 of the MCU is ‘Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness‘. In the Infinity War and Endgame, one of the most fascinating characters became Doctor Steven Vincent Strange or Doctor Strange for short. There are many theories going around as to what Phase 4 will be based around. So, most of the theories say that there will be a possible introduction to Illuminati. Here’s the series of events the theory is based on.
So, it’s a sure thing that The Illuminati will be introduced sooner or later. Doctor Strange and Iron Man have a lot in common. Their arrogance, inexplainable power etc. Following that, there’s quite the possibility that He’ll be Phase 4’s Iron Man.
The Cosmic Wonder, a Marvel insider, is a very reliable source for marvel theories and easter eggs. They explained the need for Doctor Strange to form a new team.
There are dimensions beyond which are known to man, and there is one MCU superhero who specializes in journeying into these twilight zones. In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel studios dives headlong into the psychedelic reality warps of Steve Ditko (Doctor Strange), aiming for the otherworldly terrors of H.P. Lovecraft. Involving extra-terrestrial landscapes that the Avengers are not accustomed to, Doctor Strange will need a group of new guardians that will protect the earth from the portal that the Scarlet Witch ripped wide open for the otherworldly terrors to invade our planet.
So, Why would this lead to another war?
The Marvel Comics take a turn in the Comics when Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Panthar, and Richards vote for the Illuminati. All are in favor of it except for Black Panther. This is how the comic went.
Black Panther explained that the Skrulls were able to turn the people of earth against its heroes because everyone feared what was happening at that moment: superhumans deciding to take the earth’s affairs into their own hands. Black Panther walked out, and the others formed the group.
When Doctor Strange becomes the one to make the Illuminati kind of group, it will automatically result in a clash between Black Panther, The Wakandan Warrior and Doctor Strange, the magical Avenger.
The Civil War goes from Cap Vs Iron Man to Doctor Strange Vs Black Panther
The Marvel Cinematic Universe shows The Civil War’s conflict between Iron Man and Captain America brewed over their conflict on who can save the world better. This seems like the same case could be applied here.
We’re very impatient to see how Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe plays out. The Multiverse of Madness is still over a year away. But don’t worry. Marvel is releasing Black Widow this May! Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johanson) is coming back. And after her shocking death in The Avengers Endgame, we are highly anticipating her return to our screens,
