The Spy Who Dumped Me finally came out on Friday. The movie stars Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon along with Justin Theroux and Sam Heughan. Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon play Audrey and Morgan who are friends and soon realize that one of their ex-boyfriends was a spy. Consequently, the two get mixed up in an international conspiracy as things complicate further. The title does paint quite a picture of the story line.

Not to spoil the movie for you, but The Spy Who Dumped Me revolves around the concept from its title. But unfortunately, it does not proceed on well. The action packed comedy film is well-staged and well-executed. Indeed it definitely has an impressive start. But the twists and turns that the plot may confused the audience a bit. Though, it still remained quite entertaining. What makes little sense is how two women take up the responsibility of saving the world just when they were only to go after the ex-boyfriend who was a spy. Interestingly enough, with so much happening and the threat of death hanging over them, Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon still manage to have the silliest exchange of dialogue ever.

Even when the plot could be considered flawed and common sense is greatly challenged in parts throughout, The Spy Who Dumped Me does give lots of fun bits. Actors Paul Reiser, Jane Curtain and Fred Melamed have surely added to the comedy aspect of the movie. Gillian Anderson and her girl-crushing interactions with Kate McKinnon might have been an extra treat for some. Not to forget Kev Adams who gives us all a hearty laugh with his car chase scene. What gives The Spy Who Dumped Me a greater edge is the good-looking solid actors, the beautiful Europe locations and the dramatic actions from chasing to gun fights. The climax surely doesn’t disappoint, giving people the moments that they would never want to miss.

With the movie coming out, Twitter was quick to catch the #TheSpyWhoDumpedMe hashtag. Fans reacted well to Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon and the movie.

What makes The Spy Who Dumped Me more popular in fans is Sam Heughan’s appearance. People are literally all over the place and even asked more of him in the trailer.

The official Twitter ID for The Spy Who Dumped Me is also winning over fans by making  memes to which a lot of us can relate.

Let’s wait to see if more people would agree with our light on the film.
