Why is Walt Disney Sued by an Artist Daniher
Daniher is an artist and tattooist who does photography to prove that unicorns do exist, at least for her. In the last few years, she published a photography book called ‘I See Unicorns’ that features everyday objects photographed to look like unicorns. She also plays with watercolor paintings of unicorns naturally. Daniher has also shown her love for unicorns off her Instagram page. A lot of people are fans of her creativity, especially the unicorn that she has painted on the side that she calls the Vanicorn.
According to relevant sources, Daniher has filed Walt Disney, Pixar, and Onward producer
Kori Rae for copyright infringement, among other violations. Characters of the movie travel in
a van that has the same design and color. So Sweet Cecily Daniher sued on plagiarism over design on Monday in Court.
She posted a comparison picture on Instagram of her posing picture by her Vanicorn on top.
She then wrote a picture of the Onward elves sitting on their Vanicorn on the bottom.

Well, SHIT! The producer of “Onward” just called me. She wanted to know HOW I’M FEELING…(?!) and to apologize…. she also wanted to tell me that they rented my van without disclosing their full intentions, or plans, and she’s sorry for that too. #disney #pixar just tried to smooth things over with a phone call, instead of putting their art dept to work, or asking. #Onward #corporateartsucks #justiceforsmallbusinessowners @vesta_dregs !!!!
Daniher is also seeking a statement that defendants’ related copyrights are invalid. Let’s see what happens next.
