A depressed Justin Bieber is a view no one could have imagined, at least not us. However, the Yummy singer broke down in tears and even attended a listening party to combat his depression. The singer was in the lowest of moods apparently during his adolescent days, growing up to make a mark in the music industry.

Justin Bieber’s Emotional Speech

Justin Bieber held a playback of his upcoming album at West Los Angeles just before the GRAMMYs. Variety reports that Bieber got emotional and started crying as he recalled his depressing moments while entering adulthood. He even went as far as claiming that he shouldn’t be alive “nevermind thrive”. He carried on with his speech though, thanking his manager Scooter Braun who walked him through from “a lot of sh*t”.

Remembering how depressing the hardships were, Justin Bieber tells the audience that the music industry was not always easy on him. Though he did not mention any names, he told the audience that he is hurt by the industry and the people that work in it. He also credited God and the relationship he has with Him to act as the savior for bringing him to where he is now. During all this, Bieber did not leave out his wife Hailey, whom he married back in 2018.

“I love you with all my heart… and I’m so proud of us.”

Justin Bieber also mentioned other people who stayed near him during his rise to fame, which includes SB Projects’ Allison Kaye, photographer Alfredo Flores, and songwriter Poo Bear. The “Yummy” singer, who is also coming up with a documentary, first touched fame when he was 16. His super hit “Baby” has over 2 billion views on YouTube now. Much later, his on-and-off relationship with Selena Gomez really caught both of them on the celebrity headlines and then there was this a bit of feud between Gomez and his wife. However, it seems like all parties have moved on. Bieber is releasing his new album ‘Changes’ after Selena Gomez released ‘Rare’.
