Dolly Parton Internet Challenge Inspires Miley Cyrus
The viral meme launched by Dolly Parton has taken social media with a storm. She tweeted four personalities of herself in a grid on January 21, 2020. Each picture represented a personality suitable for different social media apps (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Tinder). Probably, it was the caption that inspired people to accept the challenge. One such celebrity who accepted this challenge is none other than the goddaughter of Dolly herself, Miley Cyrus.
Miley Cyrus, and her secret identity Hannah Montana, also followed suit and posted their versions on the grid.
More than just a singer
Dolly Parton started her career by songwriting for others, but it wasn’t until 1967, that she entered the world of music with her own album. Over the years, she has branched out into a record producer, actress, author, businesswoman, and humanitarian. Jolene, her famous song was dropped in 1974, which was also covered beautifully by her goddaughter Miley.
Miley loves her God-ma
It is obvious in both posts of Miley Cyrus, how highly she thinks of her godmother. Obviously she is in awe of the queen of country for her music. But not only that, she says there’ll be no one like her. And it is obvious as she continues to set trends even at the age of 74 years. Miley Cyrus’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus was friends with Dolly and honored this friendship by asking Dolly to be Miley’s godmother.
The viral trend continues giving
Apart from the goddaughter, the tweet called for responses from many other fans of the queen of country music as well. Which is exactly what has been happening on these social media apps. The internet is flooded with such posts, and some are too good to miss.
