With the Skywalker saga coming to an end, things will look a lot different than what we grew up seeing. George Lucas’ Star Wars franchise is one of the biggest and most favorite there is. Among its latest release is a spin-off show The Mandalorian, starring Pedro Pascal. There, perhaps the cutest being in all of the Star Wars storylines might just be its baby Yoda. Baby Yoda, meet your father, George!

George Lucas Shows Love To Baby Yoda

Even the New York Post calls him the “original daddy”, so why shouldn’t we? George Lucas meets baby Yoda from The Mandalorian, the absolute fan-favorite character from the show. The series’ executive producer, Jon Favreau, uploaded a photo of him cradling the little guy. Since then, the picture has received more than 540,000 likes and several comments. You can view it below:

Joonas Suotamo, who plays as Wookie Chewbacca commented on the same picture elsewhere “the Maker and The Child”.  Interestingly, reports are that the highly-trending baby Yoda was more famous than most of the 2020 Democratic candidates for November.

Though the second season of George Lucas’ Star Wars show is incredibly far away, we received the news of its renewal last month from Disney+. There are a lot of questions that need answers, with the show’s debut season ending in one of the best ways when it comes to the franchise. Perhaps this is also because of the fans who have really popularized the little baby. In one story, Disney admitted that they did not expect The Child to receive such a huge response. They never knew that they would have to create their own merchandise.

Thankfully, Disney was quick to react. Let’s see what is more to come from George Lucas’ franchise next. The final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars airs in February!
