Game Of Thrones Return Date
Game of Thrones was returning for season 8. What’s more exciting is that we have a release date now. The President of HBO, Casey Bloys updated reporters on upcoming and returning shows on the channel. Even when Bloys could not reveal much about Game of Thrones latest season, he did give away a vague idea. The show will premiere sometime in the first half of 2019.
Not just it, but Bloys also shared something about the Game of Thrones prequels. Originally, they were going to be 5 but only of them is making progress under a pilot script from Jane Goldman. The prequel is currently searching for a director, and will begin shooting in early 2019.
Even though Casey Bloys has recently shared that Game of Thrones will be back for its last season in April 2019, we could have seen it coming. Earlier this year, Maisie Williams who plays Arya in Game of Thrones revealed something similar in an interview. While talking to Metro, she released a statement saying,
We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April . That’s a four-month turnaround for these huge episodes. There’s a lot that goes into the final edit. You would not want to rush this season at all. We owe it to our audience and our fans to really do this final season to the best of our abilities.
But later, Williams denied giving away any such information. She said that it was taken from an interview that she did years ago. She made a tweet denying saying anything of the sort.
Just a tweet letting you know this game of thrones release date "quote" I've supposedly given is completely false and taken from an interview I did years ago.

Previously, the last season of Game of Thrones was supposed to be on TV by 2018. But during an interview, Sansa played by Sophie Turner suggested that it will air in 2019. Later HBO officially announced the return to be scheduled for next year.

A lot has not been shared about the upcoming season, but predictions are going strong. Fans were wondering why it took so long for the season to come. And Casey Bloys answered this in his latest interview.
They take the time they need to do the show at its highest level of quality. As the show has gone on, it’s gotten bigger — big battle scenes, big special effects.
With that said, we can be sure that something really thrilling is up on the way. Game of Thrones stars have also revealed a bit about the last season. The character Bran Stark that the final season will make sure that people feel the certainty that it is going to be over. It won’t go the way that people might want it to be, but it will happy for some and sad for others.
For all those who were worried that six episodes are too less, stars and producers have assured us that the conclusion will not be rushed. The team is doing its best to go over fan expectations and end everything brilliantly.
The last season for Game of Thrones is going to have multiple surprises. In the form of new cast, story lines and villains. Fan theories are literally on their peaks.
