Lena Headey, popularly known as Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones, is not just a remarkable actress. She is now also a renowned film-maker and director. Her short film ‘The Trap’ is nominated by BAFTA- one of the most prestigious awards.

Lena Headey is the writer and director for a hit short film this year.
The film named ‘The Trap’ is her second project as a director and the first one as a writer. Earlier, Lena Headey was behind the direction of another short film, ‘Freya Ridings: You Mean The World To Me’ in 2019.
‘The Trap’ is a thirty minutes drama, about loneliness and isolation and how they converge on an unexpected journey when intrigue comes to town.

The film stars Michelle Fairley, Larissa Murray, and James-Nelson Joyce.

The British Academy Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) announced the shortlisted films for the category of British Short Film and the British Short Animation.
