Disney+ Is Coming Up With Two Big Marvel Series For The Year 2020
Now that The Mandalorian‘s debut season has come to an end, there were reports that Disney+ will lose its subscribers. While there may or may not be any link to this, the following news is a great one. Two of the Marvel series are releasing on the new streaming platform: WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Although the former show was set for launch in 2021, it has been moved up to 2020 instead.
Disney+ Giving Two Great Marvel Series In 2020
As you can see, Disney has big plans coming up in 2020 in collaboration with Marvel. Beware, there is no specific release date, and the video isn’t necessarily showing the shows in order of release date. Hence, there is no clue if WandaVision is coming out before Falcon and the Winter Soldier. With two Marvel series releasing in the same year, will this be enough to hold back Disney+’s losing subscribers?
Marvel had planned to tease events of WandaVision in Doctor Strange’s third movie “Multiverse of Madness”. However, that movie is coming out on May 7th, 2021 whereas the series is now releasing in 2020. So, will Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch storyline go to reshaping? Or will there be a few tweaks for the upcoming 2021 movie?
Regardless, announcing two Marvel series in the same year is probably a great move to retain viewers. After The Mandalorian’s ending, there was a social media trend about canceling Disney+’s subscription. The Star Wars spin-off show gave a terrific start to the new streaming service. In fact, it is reported that because of the show staring Pedro Pascal, Disney Plus gained 10 million subs on its launch day. However, it seems that the viewers are not interested in watching other Disney shows, or those that are owned by it.
Right now, there are no details of the two shows releasing this year in 2020 on Disney+. We are really eager to see how the next phase of Marvel movies will shape up the storyline. Anyways, watch this space for updates!
