John Boyega Mocks Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’s One Plot Point

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker ended in a not-so-conclusive manner. In fact, if we write here that the movie created a stir of arguments, that would be an understatement. Supposedly, the whole “open plot” scenario of the movie also pulled John Boyega into its gravitational pull.

John Boyega Makes A Point At Reylo

The ambiguous ending from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker really put us at a discomfort. Especially the part where the whole movie made an effort to bring Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega) together. That story actually ended by putting a kiss scene between Rey and Kylo.

Now, you may either be a Finn and Rey person, or a Kylo and Ren, but you definitely have noticed the twist as well. Even during one part where the group was stuck in some quicksand-like situation, people believe Boyega’s Finn was going to confess his feelings. Then again, some may claim that he was going to tell her about his force-sensitive abilities. This is why we call this Chapter Nine something far from conclusive.

Anyways, now that John Boyega’s contract with the Disney franchise has come to an end, he is open to voice his own opinion as well. And the first thing he posts is rather hilarious. Digital Spy shows a screenshot of one of Boyega’s tweet where he posted four intense pictures of Rey and Kylo. In three pictures, the two are seen fighting each other, one of which even shows Rey stabbing him. Boyega puts a title over these sets of photos and says “Star Wars romance”.

This will definitely bring out the group of Reylo fans to voice their anger over John Boyega’s tweet, and it did as well. However, the Disney actor is no stranger to criticizing the franchise, even if it is in a sarcastic way. Regardless, we are still waiting for J J Abrams, or anyone else from Star Wars to come up with a reply.
