The Mandalorian Season 2 Is Coming Back in 2020, Confirms Jon Favreau
Quite possibly the flagship show for Disney+, The Mandalorian is set to return for season 2. The season finale of the previous season gave many new routes for the storyline to take up. This has given enough content for the writers to come up with a whole set of stories, without giving us fillers like last time. The Star Wars spin-off show by Jon Favreau has a release date and we just can’t wait to see what is coming.
“Season 2 of The Mandalorian Is Coming”
Director Jon Favreau was quick to reveal the date for the season 2 of The Mandalorian. He tweeted about it with a picture of a nasty-looking Gamorrean statuette. You can see the tweet here:

Just as expected the next season will begin in the fall season. Right now, we cannot help but think why did Jon use the Gamorrean figure to put up the tweet. Will this character or species give a hard time to the Din Djarin (Mando)? If so, then what about the Darksaber wielding Moff Gideon? We remember seeing the Gamorreans in 1983’s Return of the Jedi movie. Is this where Mando is headed with his baby Yoda now that he is his father?
The series streamed eight overall wonderful episodes of the Star Wars spin-off, with the season finale airing this past Friday. As the galaxy adjusts itself after the fall of Empire, there are pockets of Imperial groups serving their fallen master while they live. This brings Mando to come face to face with his bounty hunter code and morals as he is tasked to bring a “small package” for “a large bounty”.
With release date announced, The Mandalorian season 2 is already in production, claims CNBC. Ever since the show’s release, it has dominated social media thanks to clever designs for baby Yoda. While our own reviews remain mixed for individual episodes, the show itself is now all set to offer a completely different narrative from the traditional Star Wars storyline.
Let’s see what The Mandalorian season 2 is going to show us next!
