Dave Bautista’s Comedy-Action ‘My Spy’ Will Release In March 2020
An action-packed with a hint of comedy movie is coming starring ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ actor Dave Bautista. However, maybe it is not wrong if we say that the movie just keeps on coming and there is no telling when it will arrive. While the trailer came out in April 2019, My Spy’s release date keeps getting delayed. Now, the date is set to March 2020, and there is no telling if this will change in the future as well.
‘My Spy’ Starring Dave Bautista and Little Chloe
‘My Spy’ movie is about a hardened CIA operative who somehow teams up with a child, Sophie. By the looks of the trailer, it seems as if Peter Segal, director, has tried to make this look like the classic movie ‘Kindergarten Cop’. You can watch the trailer for the upcoming movie below:
Dave Bautista will play the role of a CIA agent, JJ. As he is running a routine surveillance check on a family, their daughter Sophie (Chloe Coleman) catches him. Unlucky to convince his partner to get rid of Sophie, JJ now talks to the child himself. The nine-year-old kid makes a deal with the agent to teach her to be a spy. In return, she will not tell her family that they are being watched. Now, JJ might think this is an easy task to teach, but he is quickly proven wrong. Sophie proves that even a child can sometimes outmaneuver a seasoned spy.
My Spy’s Release Date
At first, Dave Bautista’s new movie had a release date a couple of months ahead of the other one, ‘Stuber’. The movie starring Kumail Nanjiani has received a warm response, since its release on March 13, 2019. ‘My Spy’ had a plan for release on August 23, but it was moved to January 2020. A few weeks ago, Hollywood Reporter then published that the January date is now moved forward to March 13. This is so in order to “take advantage of the spring break play period.”
Is this going to move forward to the summer holidays now? We don’t know yet. The trailer is out since April and there is no telling when the movie will play on screens. Stay tuned to find out more!
