Disney-Pixar Releases Trailer of Animated Fantasy ‘Onward’
Get ready to join Ian and Barley’s fanciful expedition this spring, as Disney-Pixar’s ‘Onward’ has recently released another trailer signaling it’s March 2020 release. This urban fantasy animation will televise the voices of Tom Holland and Chris Pratt as Ian and Barley respectively. The two teen elves, in fact, are on a hunt for some conjuring tricks that can help them spend one full day with their departed father.
Teasing The Upcoming Magical Ian And Barley Movie Onward!
Primarily Disney-Pixar has released some stills showcasing Barley, Ian and their mother after announcing the project. However, the very next day Onward’s teaser poster appeared. Moreover, the first teaser was aired during the broadcast of the 2019 NBA Finals. The official trailer was, then, released on October 10, 2019, whereas the show makers broadcasted another grand teaser on December 17, 2019.
Theatrical Trailer for Onward showcased Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Octavia Spencer, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the animated cast. This 2 minutes 25 seconds display teases mystical unicorns, faeries, and wizards inhabiting the fictional suburbia. Viewers can meet the gnomes and mermaids spending idle time in their inflatable pools. They are waiting for somebody who can take the trash out of the pool. On the other hand, there are unicorns, the garbage-loving monsters.
The plot, in fact, revolves around the story of two ink-blue elves Ian and Barley Lightfoot. Don’t miss to admire their painted van Pegasus as both of them are pretty sensitive about it. The voice actors are really involved in their characters. As a matter of fact, Pratt turned emotional for his voice role.
“I do feel like Tom is a little brother to me, and you see that reflected in this movie,”
Similarly, Holland added, pointing to their previous Marvel Cinematic Universe voices as Spider-Man and Star-Lord:
“Last time we were here, we were like space buddies, Now, we’re elf buddies.”
Mark-Twain life-time receiver, Julia Louis-Dreyfus voiced as the mother of elves- the middle-aged Laurel. On Ian’s 16th birthday. she gave a wizard staff belonging to their missing father to her sons. Their father, hence, left a “visitation spell” that promises to bring the dad back for 24 hours.
It would be exciting to watch how Ian can bring back his father’s legs only at first and then they strive to bring back the rest of him before the allotted day ends.
Onward will hit the big screens on March 6, 2020. Other Disney animations set for 2020 releases are “Soul,” which is set to open June 19, 2020. and “Toy Story 4,” will premiere on June 21, 2019.
