More than two decades of NBC’s Will and Grace are actually coming to an end. Recent posts by Debra Messing and Sean Hayes have made the ending official. The cast members are bidding farewell in their own ways.
The cast Bids Farewell to Will and Grace Final Season
The highly celebrated James Burrows creation is finally coming to a close. Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally starer Will and Grace’s final season has been quite eventful. The 3 season-long reboot recently lost its beloved Rosario (Shelley Morrison). “Season 11” also saw the infamous Will and Grace feud that cost the NBC show a huge chunk in the viewership. Guest star Demi Lovato also joined the cast in season 3 of the remake and it was welcomed by everyone.
The journey ends here though and we know now that it’s really happening. A recent Instagram post by Sean Hayes’ confirms it. The picture shows his last script for Will and Grace final season and he captions it:
And so, The end begins. [sad emoji] #WillandGrace.
Titled “It’s time” the script’s cover has names of the writers David Cohan & Max Mutchnick and director Burrows printed on it.
A few days after sharing the last table-read, Co-star Messing also shared a very emotional post that basically shows the packed-up set of Will and Grace. Referring to the emptiness she says:
It’s really happening. The curtain is coming down on Will and Grace after 11 seasons. A whole lotta life was lived in the apartment. And that laughs. Thank God for the laughs. Almost all packed-up. Savoring every last minute.
The picture shows her sitting with Eric’s Will and in the background, props packed in some cartons. These pictures put a seal to the show’s ending. Let’s see where do we see these stars again. Do you think there will be another season of Will and Grace?
