The V Wars series came out on Netflix recently and it may come as no surprise that many have binged the show more than once by now. Well, ourselves included. It is surely a roller-coaster seeing Dr. Luther Swann (Ian Somerhalder) work hard to find a cure and fight battles with his best friend, Michael Fayne (Adrian Holmes). The series follows the two as Michael is exposed to a virus in the north and transformed into a vampire. However, the end left us quite curious.
Nearing the end of the season, there were a lot of questions. I mean, how did Calix become the leader of the Bloods? What is going to become of the world since the water supply is now infected with the virus? Also, the bigger question, Michael somehow disappeared. Is he dead? Will he be returning? Did he leave town like Danika (Kimberly -Sue Murray) pleaded him to?
In the last episode of V Wars (episode 10), Michael Fayne shows that he is losing his supernatural abilities. This may result in him becoming too sick to be living anymore. Also, since BludSub (the cure to vampirism) is poisoned, it is not a viable option, either. When the episode ends, we know Dr. Swann is off to encounter the Bloods. The Bloods have taken over a warehouse. Luther’s son, Dez, is the Blood’s hostage. Meanwhile, Fayne is also captured and taken somewhere but it’s not clear if he’s killed or not.
So, what do we think happened to Michael Fayne?
Well, for one, it is very hard to not try and make some assumptions based on shows like Supernatural, Vampire Diaries and The Originals. All three of these shows always had supernatural beings getting resurrected in one way or another. So, we feel that even if he is dead, once season 2 is confirmed, they will find a way to bring him back.
Also, not to spoil the seasons for you, but you can always go on to read the V-Wars Book Series by Jonathan Maberry to find out what happens next!
