Brooklyn Nine Nine Season 8 Renewed by NBC
the NINE NINE squad is coming back!
Andy Samberg aka Jake Peralta on Brooklyn Nine-Nine has become one of our favourite on-screen faces in the last 6 years. The show revolves around the lives of 7 officers and their chief in the 99th precinct. These include Amy (Melissa Fumero), Captain Holt (Andre Braugher), Charles (Joe Lo Trigo), Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz), Gina (Chelsea Peretti), Terry (Terry Crews) and Hitchcock and Scully. It is a hilarious show as they all try to be their best while keeping it light in the precinct.
We now know that our favorite crime-solving team of Brooklyn 99 will be here til 2021, at least!

We feel you Nine-Nine, we feel you!
The news was revealed early November and it has all the fans on the edge of their seats. The 7th Season is scheduled to air in February and we are all the more hyped now. The Brooklyn 99 show was initially canceled after it’s 5th season. However, due to the fans and their online campaigns, it was further renewed! Even so, prominent celebrities Lin-Manuel Miranda and Mark Hamill were a part of this! This led to a renewal by NBC (previously it was owned by Fox) who realized that fans deserved more.
The Brooklyn Nine-Nine series is a Golden Globe award-winning show and it would be truly a shame to watch it end. For now, we have to sit back and wait for the 7th season that premieres on 8th February 2020. With every passing season, their viewership keeps growing and we are curious to what creators Dan Goor and Mike Schur have planned for us these coming seasons.
In the end of season 6, Captain Holt was demoted to a parole officer and Terry was moved to Holt’s office. Terry had some words to say about it!
Andre Braugher is an officer, he’s not a captain. I am the lieutenant, I am in his office. It’s so bizarre, I still don’t feel like it’s mine. We love to turn things on its ear. It’s so wild because we’re all changing and growing.
We can hardly wait for the coming seasons! So, are you just as excited for what’s in store by Brooklyn 99?!
