Eminem’s New Song Feat. Dre Reignites Feud With Mariah Carey

You thought that Slim Shady was done beefing with Mariah Carey, didn’t you? Unfortunately, Eminem has is still not over her as he reignites his feud with her and Nick Cannon. Dre released his joint album with Fat Joe “Family Ties” and this has a song featuring rapper Eminem called “Lord Above”.

Eminem Is Not Over Mariah Carey Even After 10 Years

“I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note,” Eminem raps in the song. “But that other dude’s whipped, that pu**y got him neutered. Tried to tell him this chick’s a nut job before he got his jewels clipped.”

You can listen to the complete track below:

Buzzfeed made a complete background of this feud. In the early 2000s (yes way back then), Eminem kicked things off by coming up with lyrics regarding Mariah Carey in his song Superman.

He continued with this in his next release “When the Music Stops” as well. At this, people questioned if perhaps was there some intimacy between the two? Mariah cleared things up by saying that they hung out for only a few times, and none of those hangs out were a date. Carey even released her song and mentioned the following lyrics:

“I should’ve left it at, how ya doing? I should’ve left it at I like your music too, and I should’ve never called you back when you pursued me”

Eminem could not bear this and switched to personal attacks. He leaked her voicemails and started dissing her and then-husband Nick Cannon in his next songs. Specific lyrics to one song include the following verse: “Nick Cannon, I wish you luck with the f**king wh***.”

Mariah Carey Delivered A Strong Blow

Now, Mariah had enough of Eminem’s “bullshitery”, so she released just one more song on him before going silent. She rang “Obsessed”, which had a strong reply to the rap king.

Now, as much as Eminem hyped up this issue, he definitely had to release another song as a reply. And so, he came up with “The Warning”. However, as we mentioned earlier Mariah went silent and started to ignore him for good.

The lyrics to “Lord Above” featuring Dre feel kind of unnecessary now, to be honest. Because Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon filed a divorce back in 2016. So, maybe there was no need to reignite this old feud. Carey is doing incredibly well in her career. Her incredibly hit single “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is still referred to as one of the best holiday songs.

Eminem continues his claim that he used to have a relationship with Carey in 2001. Obviously, with everything that has become now, Carey to this day continues to deny it.

Carey has not responded to the current track of Eminem, though her ex-husband Nick Cannon has. Nick released two diss tracks against Eminem: The Invitation and Pray For Him.
