Nebula Actor Karen Gillan Loved Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 Script
More news arrive for MCU’s Phase 4. This time Karen Gillan confirms that the script of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is complete and it is “amazing”. The actor plays as Nebula in the Marvel Studio’s Avengers series, who is the sister of Gamora (Zoe Saldana).
At first, it was reported that James Gunn was fired by Disney. Fortunately for him, he was rehired and given the charge of writing and directing this upcoming Marvel movie.
Karen Gillan On The Script of GotG Vol 3 Movie
MovieWeb reports that because of the absence of James Dunn, the project of the new movie was left hanging. However, that quickly changed when Disney rehired the man.
The actress stated:
“I can say that I’ve read it and it’s amazing. We’re all really excited that James is back to complete the trilogy because it wouldn’t have felt right without him. It’s a wonderful, wonderful script.”
The star was exceptionally excited about Avengers: Endgame. She was notified that she would have a larger role in the movie, which was really special to her. Nebula initially had a minor role in the movie. In fact, she was supposed to die in the first film. With script and storyline revised, the space warrior was given extended roles. Karen Gillan expressed her emotions by saying:
“To go on and be able to evolve the character and then have her be this pivotal role in Endgame was amazing. I didn’t see it coming at all.”
Currently, there is no release date in the plan for the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. However, we believe that it is set to the early months of 2021. James Gunn is also working for DC Universe’s The Suicide Squad which will also take up his time. He recently revealed an update on the release date, stating that there is still plenty of time to start the production.
Therefore, it might take a little more time to see Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and Nebula team up with Thor possibly by their side.
