The Disney Channel Original Movies from the early 21st Century are some of the best movies we have ever watched! In the names, we will always remember, ‘The High School Musical’ Trilogy. The movies starred some of our favorite childhood actors like Zac Efron, Vannessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, and Lucas Gabreel! There’s a new Disney+ series that brings to life the same concept but with a new cast.

By the way, for those of you interested, the movies are now streaming on Disney+ and we have got the first look for you!

The show streamed its first episode on November 12th. So far, the series follows a couple of high-school teenagers who dedicate to producing a Musical on the original High School Musical. The show’s cast includes Matt Cornett, Joshua Bassett, Olivia Rodrigo and Julia Lester.

People are curious whether the new show The High School Musical: The Musical series will have the old cast to cameo in it or not.

Despite not having the original characters, we are digging the show, so far.

There is one character featuring from the original movies: The High-School Musical!

We don’t know have any concrete news on Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgeons or Ashley Tisdale to make a cameo. We do know about a few characters.

The character; Miss. Jenn, in The High School Musical: The Musical series is, in fact, one of the background dancers from the original movies! The role is played by the infamous Broadway actress, Kate Reinders.

That’s not all! in an interview with TVLine, the executive producer, Tim Federle, gave us quite some hope!

Later in the season, we have a full fantasy number, which features a cameo from an original cast member.

We have some hints on who it might be as the 18th track on the features Lucas Gabreel or, as we know him, Ryan Evans! Isn’t that exciting?

As of December 6th, the series has had 5 episodes and we cannot wait to have the entire series available to binge-watch. Since the series is expected to have 10 episodes, we are holding onto hope.

Of all that could be, imagine one of the main cast showing up to assist the production or give some acting tips. You can watch the series now on Disney+, they stream new episodes every Friday.
