Doctor Strange 2 and WandaVision | The Connection?
The series' events line-up with Doctor Strange 2 movie release
The rumors of a villain connection between Elisabeth Olsen starer WandaVision and Benedict Cumberbatch starer Doctor Strange 2: In The Multiverse of Madness have been circulating for a while now. There’s not much information available but we can still try and speculate what the connection might be between Scott Derrickson movie and Disney+ series. Sources say that Scarlet Witch might end up in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie.
Can Nightmare be the Connection between Doctor Strange 2 and Wanda Vision?
The reveal of Nightmare as a villain in Doctor Strange 2 by Scott holds great importance. Scarlet Witch’s dream of living a normal life with Vision (Paul Bettany) and kids has been part of the comics.
Some fans and sources think that Nightmare will rise up as the true antagonist in the Disney+ WandaVision series and try to control Scarlet Witch and destroy her family. So what does that have to do with Doctor Strange 2? Well… The result will be catastrophic. The breakdown of Scarlet Witch will wreak havoc on cosmic levels and at that point, Doctor Stephen Strange will have to jump in to save everyone from her wrath.
Therefore, her appearance in Benedict Cumberbatch’s movie makes sense. It’s still a rumor at this time and there’s not a whole lot of information available either. But there is one rumor that states Loki might be in the movie as well.
Wanda Vision is a Disney+ series revolving around Scarlet Witch and love interest Vision (an Android). The final events of the series might be added into Elisabeth Olsen’s character into Doctor Strange 2.
In The Multiverse of Madness will see Benedict Cumberbatch take on enemies from different dimensions. It is set to release in 2021.
Some say Scarlet Witch might be the villain in the upcoming Doctor Strange flick. Others say it will be Nightmare. The fans seem divided on it. Looks like we’ll have to wait on this one.
