Jake Paul Says He Might Quit YouTube Because it’s Not Worth it
He wants to focus on Boxing
Logan Paul’s younger brother, Jake Paul, recently uploaded a video in which he indicated quitting YouTube. The creator of Team 10 and husband to social-media influencer Tana Mongeau, thinks that the platform is not worth it anymore.
Is Jake Paul actually Quitting YouTube?
The latest video by titled, “Here’s why I am quitting YouTube” sees Jake Paul training with boxing pro Ryan Garcia in San Diego.
Jake Paul can be seen talking about YouTube and it’s policies in the 24-minute long video. After that training session, Jake reveals that he might just quit making videos.
Why am I like, waking up every single day to film YouTube videos that are just getting me in trouble? Getting me in lawsuits – like, I have four lawsuits from filming YouTube videos – when I can do something I love waking up and doing that pushes me mentally to a place that I haven’t ever been before.
He also mentioned that he might just take a temporary break instead of completely leaving YouTube and focus more on boxing.
I’ll always produce YouTube content, but I think waking up and having YouTube be the only thing on your mind is a lot of YouTubers’ mentalities.
A fan asked him “Are you really going to stop YouTube for Boxing?” Jake Paul replied:
I’m doing my best to manage both of them, however, YouTube just doesn’t excite me much anymore. But, at the end of the day, I’m an entrepreneur. I’ll ALWAYS create content and post it to YouTube & there are certain videos that I love making but it’s to grow and push my mind into verticals that I haven’t conquered yet, such as BOXING!! YouTube is becoming such a controlling and non-rewarding platform to be a part of.
It’s not the first time Jake Paul has mentioned leaving YouTube. The video seems more like a release of frustration. Dankanator will keep you updated on the matter.
