Daniel Craig Wants Someone Else To Have A Chance
Daniel Craig confirmed this by coming on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Colbert asked him about the recent news about him quitting, and here is what Daniel said:
Daniel Craig first came on screen as James Bond in 2006, starring in Casino Royale. He went on to do three more movies as Agent 007 in 2008, 2012, and 2015. The year 2020 will feature his final movie titled “No Time to Die”. The news about his departure was first reported by a German outlet Express. According to them, Daniel said that he wanted someone else to have a go now.
This news links up with his recent comments about doing Bond films. The Sunday Times sat down with the man who told them:
“This may be hard to believe, but I love the fact I’m Bond. We’re in rare air, making Bond movies. It is one of the most intense, fulfilling things I’ve ever done, but it takes a lot of energy and I’m getting old. I’m getting creaky.”
Daniel Craig also suffered an ankle injury during the production of “No Time to Die”.
He also gave an emotional farewell speech to the whole crew after the end of filming in a party. At that time, we were not sure what our James Bond meant when he said:
“I just want to say, and I am really quite drunk now so I won’t go on for long, this has been one of the best, most wonderful experiences I have ever had,”
