Trevor Noah Posts Best Reaction After Grammy Nomination
Trevor Noah is an absolutely kind human being. We think so because even after getting his Grammy nomination, he could not forget to thank his mom on this momentous occasion. Noah’s album Son of Patricia is a Grammy nominee in the category of Best Comedy Album. Now, the selection would be amongst his album, Aziz Ansari’s Right Now, and Ellen DeGeneres’ Relatable. Dave Chappelle’s Sticks & Stones and Jim Gaffigan’s Quality Time are also selected.
Trevor Noah Reacts to His Nomination
Trevor Noah went to social media to express his gratitude and show how special this is for him. Here is what he said:
Noah talked about how he found out the news that the Grammys had nominated him for an award for his album. Then he shares his feelings when he saw the names on the nominee list:
I saw the other names in my category and I almost cried-
Dave Chappelle- my mentor and friend. A legend who pushes me to be funnier every time I’m on stage.
Ellen DeGeneres- my watch buddy and talk show/stand up idol.
Aziz Ansari- My comedy cellar comrade. Where we would work our ideas every night.
Jim Gaffigan- A comedy genius who has made me cry laughing every time I’ve watched him on stage and every time we’ve hung out off stage!
The stand-up comedian and host of The Daily Show even thanked his mother for the nomination.

Apart from Noah, Aziz Ansari is also a Grammy nominee. Would he also react in a similar manner? Unfortunately, a couple of years ago the Parks and Recreation star was accused of sexual harassment which he had to address on his show Right Now. Ansari tried his best to close the allegations by talking about it on his show:
“I saw the world where I don’t ever get to do this again, and it almost felt like I died. In a way, I did. That old Aziz who said, ‘Oh treat yo self’ or whatever, he’s dead. And I’m glad. ‘Cause that guy was always looking forward to whatever was next. I don’t think that way anymore. ‘Cause I’ve realized it’s all ephemeral. All that stuff, it can just go away like this. And all we really have is the moment we’re in and the people we’re with.”
