Marvel’s Runaways Cancelled | Season 3 Will Be Its Final One
It seems that Marvel is doing some sort of house clean up as it keeps its trend of canceling shows. At first, Marvel TV shows were rapidly expanding as we got to see The Punisher, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones come on. Eventually, the bosses at the Studio decided to go on a different path. Consequently, Daredevil related shows like The Punisher were canceled between 2018 and early 2019. Even Agents of SHIELD will air its final episode in 2020, while Jessica Jones only had three seasons. Now, thanks to ScreenRant, it has come to our notice that Marvel’s Runaways is also getting canceled after Season 3.
Hulu To Air Marvel’s Runaways Final Season
There is some good news about this as well. The final season of Runaways is getting a crossover with Cloak and Dagger. Aubrey Joseph and Olivia Holt will join the show as Tyrone and Tandy in Season 3. Cloak and Dagger already got canceled last month, now its time for Runaways to end. Quiet frankly Marvels is doing a house clean up of live-action shows that do not fall directly under Marvel Studios.
Marvel boss Kevin Feige made this clear upon announcing MCU’s Phase 4. He explained that the studio would now focus on the joint production of television shows with Disney+. Kevin Feige’s role at Marvels is slowly expanding, and as it does he is getting more authority. This can be positive for MCU as it ensures a streamlined storyline for Phase 4 and related shows.
For now, Runaways‘ audience can rest easy knowing that there is still one more season to go before cancellation. Hopefully, Season 3 will provide all the necessary closures to the storyline just as the fans expect. Provided that they come before canceling Marvel Runaways, and not after in some talk show. Fortunately, there is still one more season of Gregg Sulkin, Ariela Barer, Virginia Gardner, and Lyrica Okano.
Perhaps now Marvel’s Runaways will get an opportunity to sit still and catch their breath after Hulu will premiere its final Season 3.
